Walpurgis Night, a traditional holiday celebrated on April 30 in northern Europe and Scandinavia. In Sweden, typical holiday activities include the singing of traditional spring folk songs and the lighting of bonfires. 

This is a new event for Svea!  We have enlisted the help of our Danish friends from the Sommerlyst Club.  They have the perfect setting for the bonfire and are willing to share their camp with us.  The bonfire will be lit at 7PM.  Come a little early and play a game of Molkky or corn hole.  Visit your Svea friends and make some new Danish ones!  Sommerlyst has beer for $2.50/can, pop and water for $1.25 each so no need for a cooler and you'll support Sommerlyst.   If you want any other beverages, BYOB.  Hot dogs, buns and condiments will be provided, please bring a chair and a hearty singing voice!  We will be  singing a few rounds of Helan Gar!
